Matty Harris back out on November 16
Big hitting heavyweight Matty Harris (7-1) is one of two huge additions to BCB Promotions already-stacked ‘Unleashed’ show on November 16th at the Bescot Stadium in Walsall.
The 24-year-old from Coventry stands a towering six feet eight inches and is widely regarded as one of the best prospects in the division.
Signed to promotional powerhouse Wasserman Boxing, ‘Magic’ Matty Harris has bounced back from his first career loss with back-to-back wins in 2024 against Amine Boucetta (PTS-4) and Yury Bykhautsou (TKO-2) boxing in some of the biggest arenas in the UK.
Trained by Peter Fury, Harris is aiming to finish the year with another solid victory to enter 2025 with a running start.
The sole career defeat to Kostiantyn Dovbyshchenko last year set him back for a short while, but the heavyweight prospect is now firing on all cylinders after building up momentum with regular fights again.
Connor Parker (14-1) is also set to feature getting in some much-needed rounds after 20 months out of the ring. The former Midlands Area Super Lightweight Champion was scheduled to box in Torquay, but after that event was postponed, he is now boxing much closer to home as he looks to put himself back in the title mix in 2025.
Bloxwich’s unbeaten Ryan Woolridge (10-0) headlines the show in his first eight-round contest with a stacked undercard featuring Wolverhampton heavyweight Sonny Clarke (2-0). Stafford’s Ashley Pettigrew (3-1) is set to return to the ring after a year of travelling in Thailand.
Exeter’s Kristine Shergold (7-7) will make the journey up from the southwest in her first fight since her points loss to world champion Rhiannon Dixon.
Jay Jay Tonks (1-0) boxes for the first time this year, and amateur sensation Mia Holland from Wolverhampton will make her professional debut.
Tickets for ‘Unleashed’ are available now priced at £45 standard and £80 VIP from the boxers directly or by emailing info@bcb-promotions.com.
