From whipping foes to wiping floors
Things may not be ideal for everyone, but undefeated 140-pounder Daniel Egbunike is doing his best to try and help the community.
Trained by Kevin Lilley, 'Danny Darko' (6-0, 3KOs) has recently made his first business venture, opening up his own cleaning services company—named Fresh Fog Services—as the demand for cleanliness and sanitation continues to rise up amidst the pandemic.
The reigning Southern Area super-lightweight champion said:“This wasn’t planned. It just came to my mind what can be a good business. I guess it’s also good timing as well. I just knew it’s going to a time when other people are going to need something. I just have to think about what they’re going to need.
“A lot of people are calling in so obviously our services are definitely needed. Not only that, we’re also doing our services a lot cheaper than other companies. Like the other companies, we are actually joining the fight against COVID-19 in terms of maintaining cleanliness at homes and offices.
“I’m running more. I’m waking up early and doing my thing with my dog. I’m still getting to work and doing the best way that I can to stay in shape.”
Egbunike won his Southern Area strap last November by outpointing the previously-unbeaten Billy Allington on the undercard of Danny Dignum's WBO European middleweight title victory over Conrad Cummings.
