Serhiy Radchenko vs Andrej Pesic for the WBC Silver bridgerweight title in Ukraine
On August 3 at the Sport Palace in Kyiv, Ukraine, local fighter Serhiy Radchenko (10-7-0, 5KO) will face Serbian Andrej Pesic (15-2-1, 8KO) for the WBC Silver bridgerweight title.
Radchenko, 37 from Kremenchug, comes into this fight after winning the Ukrainian national title by knocking out Dmytro Serguta in eight rounds in October last year in Kyiv.
He has fought the likes of Krzysztof Glowacki, Michal Cieslak, Adam Balski, ruslan Fayfar and Artur Szpilka, so is no stranger to a challenge.
He has won his last three fights by KO, which followed on from a five-fight losing streak.
Meanwhile, 29-year-old Pesic comes into this fight after defeating Vlatko Vojnic Tunic in two rounds in a fight held in Armenia.
He hasn’t lost in his last 10 fights, so both boxers carry form and momentum into this championship contest.
