Undefeated Sebastian Juarez returns to the ring against hard-hitting middleweight

Juarez faces hard-hitting Ernesto Sanchez Rodriguez on BXSTRS/Matchroom card

Fast-rising undefeated middleweight prospect Sebastian Juarez (10-0, 8 KOs), representing Brownsville, Texas, is set to return to action tomorrow, Friday, February 6, in a scheduled 6-round bout against Mexico’s Ernesto Sanchez Rodriguez (5-2-1, 4 KOs).

The fight will take place at the Domo Alcalde in Guadalajara, Mexico, on a stacked card promoted by BXSTRS and Matchroom Boxing and will be televised live on DAZN.

Juarez, known for his explosive power and incredible chin, is looking to extend his unbeaten record while taking another key step forward in his career under the guidance of Boxlab Promotions.

Juarez is entering the ring against a battle-tested opponent with legitimate knockout power. With his undefeated record on the line in foreign territory, Juarez is confident that will come out victorious. “I respect Rodriguez,” said Juarez. “He’s got power in both hands and he’s not coming to lay down. That’s exactly the kind of challenge that motivates me. I know he’s dangerous—but that only pushes me to be sharper, smarter, and stronger when the bell rings.”

Juarez emphasized the importance of facing tough opponents early in his career as he stated, “If I want to be great, I have to face guys who can punch and who aren’t afraid to test me. That’s how you grow. I’m not here to build a padded record—I’m here to make a name for myself and solidify myself as a top prospect.”

Juarez recently wrapped up an intense training camp in Las Vegas with renowned coach Bob Santos and the experience has him feeling more prepared than ever. “Training in Vegas with Coach Bob Santos has been a game changer for me. Every day was about discipline, precision, and getting better in every area, from footwork to defense to ring IQ. I came out of this camp stronger mentally and physically.”

With his sights set on victory, Juarez promises fans a performance that blends excitement with growth. “When you surround yourself with a championship-level team, you absorb that energy,” he added. “Coach Santos pushes me, and I’m leveling up because of it. I can’t wait to show the world what we’ve been working on. Expect fire and focus. I always bring action, but now I’m bringing more maturity, more patience, and more purpose to my style. I want fans to see that I’m evolving into a complete fighter.”

“This is just the beginning,” Juarez concluded with confidence, “I’m coming to Guadalajara to represent Brownsville, my family, and everyone who believes in me—and I’m leaving everything in the ring.”

Amaury Piedra, President of Boxlab Promotions, spoke highly of Juarez’s progression and potential. “Sebastian Juarez is the definition of a rising star. With each fight, you can see the growth, not just in skill, but in how he carries himself as a professional. His work ethic, combined with his natural talent, makes him one of the most exciting young middleweights in the sport. We’re proud of the work he’s put in with Coach Bob Santos and the commitment he’s shown to his craft. Fans tuning in on DAZN will see a young fighter who’s on his way to becoming a serious contender.”
