Boxlab Promotions signs undefeated Nicaraguan knockout artist Jordan “La Cobrita” Orozco
Boxlab Promotions proudly announces the signing of undefeated Nicaraguan bantamweight powerhouse Jordan “La Cobrita” Orozco (15-0, 15 KOs), one of the most explosive young talents to emerge from Nicaragua in recent years.
His return is set for March 21, 2026 at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, FL, on a show co promoted by Matchroom Boxing and Boxlab Promotions.
Standing 5’7” and fighting out of the orthodox stance, Orozco has built a perfect professional record with a stunning 100% knockout ratio, immediately establishing himself as one of the most dangerous punchers in the 118-pound division. Nicknamed “La Cobrita” for his lightning-fast, venomous attack, Orozco, just 21-years old, blends pure boxing skill with devastating power in both hands.
Orozco, who is managed by Osmiri Fernandez and William Ramirez, is coming off the biggest win of his career, a statement victory over undefeated foe Karlo Rodriguez (9-1-1, 6 KOs) of Puerto Rico at “Night of Champions XIII” in Orlando, Florida. With that win, he captured the WBA Bantamweight Continental Title, earning a coveted WBA #12 world ranking and solidifying his place among the division’s rising contenders.
ON SIGNING WITH BOXLAB PROMOTIONS
“Signing with Boxlab Promotions is a huge moment for me,” said Orozco, as he expressed his excitement about joining the Boxlab Promotions team. “I’ve worked my entire life for this opportunity. I’m hungry, I’m focused, and I’m ready to show the world my God given talent. I believe this partnership will help me reach the highest level in boxing. They believe in me and my future. When you have a team that sees your vision and matches your hunger, that’s powerful.”
ON BECOMING NICARAGUA’S NEXT BIG STAR
Orozco carries the proud boxing tradition of Nicaragua on his shoulders, a country known for producing world champions and warriors. “Nicaragua has a rich history of great champions like Román González and Alexis Argüello. I grew up watching fighters from my country inspire the world. My dream is to be the next big star to come from Nicaragua and represent my people with pride. Like champions from the past, I want to inspire the next generation back home. Every time I step into the ring, I carry my country with me.”
ON HIS LATEST VICTORY AND WBA RANKING
Reflecting on his win over Karlo Rodriguez, Orozco believes that performance changed the trajectory of his career. “That fight showed everyone what I’m capable of. Rodriguez was a strong, undefeated opponent, but I knew I had to make a statement. Winning the WBA Continental Title and earning the #12 ranking proved I belong in the world rankings. Now I’m a contender climbing fast. That win opened doors, and I plan on walking through all of them.”
ON HIS RETURN MARCH 21 IN ORLANDO
Orozco will make his highly anticipated return to the ring on March 21, 2026, once again at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida. “I’m ready to get back in there. Staying active is important to me. Every fight is another step toward a world title. March 21, fans will see an even sharper, more dangerous version of ‘La Cobrita. I’m coming to dominate. I’m coming to send a message to the entire bantamweight division.”
Amaury Piedra, President of Boxlab Promotions, believes Orozco has all the tools to become Nicaragua’s next global star. “Jordan Orozco is a rare talent. His power is undeniable, but what impressed me most in his last performance was his composure and ring intelligence. He doesn’t just rely on power, he understands distance, timing, and control. After witnessing his performance at Night of Champions XIII, it became clear that he possesses the qualities necessary to become the next major star from Nicaragua. He carries himself with professionalism and fights with conviction. We are proud to guide his journey toward a world championship.”
With momentum on his side and a growing international presence, Jordan “La Cobrita” Orozco now begins the next chapter of his career under the Boxlab Promotions banner, one that could ultimately lead to a world title and superstardom.
