Puello and Martin reach agreement
The fight between WBC super lightweight champion, Dominican Alberto Puello, and Spanish challenger Sandor Martin, is now all set, as the parties have agreed terms for the mandatory defence of the world championship.
In his most recent fight, Puello (23-0, 10 KO) was crowned interim 140-pound champion after defeating Gary Antuanne Russell by decision.
He was subsequently named absolute champion after Devin Haney was named champion in recess.
For his part, Sandor (42-3, 15 KO) had action last December, knocking out Mohamed El Marcouchi in a fight held in Italy.
