On June 1, fighters under his stable will go up against their rivals from Matchroom in the much anticipated 5 vs 5 showdown out in Saudi Arabia.

Speaking to Boxing News, the 72-year-old Warren was asked about his involvement in the sport and continued enthusiasm for it.
“I’ve always been energised. I’ve always worked hard, I’ve got a good team around me, the day-to-day running of the business is [his son] George. [His other son] Francis manages a very good group of boxers. But I enjoy it. If I didn’t enjoy it I wouldn’t do it, what’s the point. I love the sport, always have, always loved all sports since I was a kid. Boxing is my passion. This, and being involved in this, is just a joy.”
As for how long he might continue, he cited the inspiration of Top Rank’s Bob Arum, who will turn 93 in December this year.
“Look at Bob Arum, he’s 92 now and has tremendous energy, he loves it, it keeps him going.”
It seems as though Warren has no plans of leaving boxing behind just yet.
