Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia PPV costs revealed and some fans are unhappy about it
Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia are set to fight on April 20 and now the price for the Pay Per view event in the UK has been revealed.
This has become a rather controversial fight given the recent behaviour of Garcia. He has taken numerous steps to unsettle his opponent in the lead-up to their world title bout at the Barclays Centre such as criticising Haney’s focus solely on belts.
He has also ridiculed his religion and publicised sparring footage with Gervonta Davis, all of which has raised questions about his mental well-being, with some finding his actions peculiar. Nevertheless, when faced with these concerns, Garcia has vehemently opposed any professional assessment, even threatening legal action against the New York Commission should they attempt one, although in amongst all this he has ended his long-running fued with Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez.
The fight will be Garcia’s second title at world honours after falling short in his first attempt against Davis in April last year. It will be shown live on DAZn in the UK and now boxing journalist Michael Benson has revealed the price in a new post in X.
“Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20th will be shown live on DAZN PPV in the UK, price £19.99.”
This comes on top of monthly subscription charges for DAZN users which has left some feeling disgruntled.
