Nathan Heaney delivers thousands of tickets by hand ahead of British title defence
Undefeated middleweight Nathan Heaney is set to defend his British Middleweight title on March 16 at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham.
‘Hitman’ Heaney, will defend his title against fellow Briton Brad Pauls. Pauls last fought in September, winning the same belt, with an 8th-round TKO victory, that he will now be fighting to reclaim.
Far from the glitz and glam of today’s top stars, Heaney lives a rather different lifestyle, going the extra mile to showcase his appreciation to fans and supporters.
In preparation for his upcoming bout, the 34-year-old has taken ticket delivery into his own hands. Travelling across the country to personally deliver fight tickets to his supporter’s doorsteps.
BCB Promotions recently revealed on X that Heaney has completed his postman duties, making over 400 deliveries and handing out a staggering 2000 tickets in the process.
“@NathanHeaney has finished his 487th and final delivery of over 2000 tickets for his British Title defence next week. Amazing effort and amazing support. #boxing”

In an interview reported by the Sun, Heaney spoke about his love for his long-time supporters, revealing he feels this small act is the least he can do to express his gratitude.
“Most of my fans live in 13 different postcodes and I deliver their tickets to their front doors two postcodes at a time – that’s about 100 a day.
“So it takes me about a couple of weeks to get round to them all.
“They seem to enjoy having a chat on the doorstep and it gives me pleasure as well. I find their support is very inspiring – it gives me a warm feeling knowing they are spending their hard-earned cash to watch me fight.
“No doubt people will be surprised to learn I get requests for tickets from all over the country including Scotland and Ireland – but I mail those recorded delivery.”
Nathan Heaney is currently ranked as the WBO #5, a win next weekend could prove to be his final stepping stone to set up a world title shot against current champion, Janibek Alimkhanuly.
