Matchroom-Queensberry 5 vs 5 betting odds reveal a surprise underdog in the heavyweights
Now that all of the fights and details for the much anticipated Matchroom and Queensberry 5 vs 5 event in Saudi Arabia have now been revealed, the betting odds have also been unveiled and may surprise some.
This is the culmination of a long-anticipated collaboration between two prominent promotional parties and it is scheduled for June 1st as the undercard to the highly anticipated light heavyweight undisputed clash between Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev.
Following last month’s announcement of the weights, the fighters and rules were announced during a press conference held on Monday this week.
The stacked card boasts an impressive line-up, featuring matches between heavyweight giants Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang; unbeaten Filip Hrgovic vs in-form Daniel Dubois; Craig Richards taking on Willy Hutchinson; Ray Ford meeting Nick Ball; and American Austin “Ammo” Williams against best of the British, Hamzah Sheeraz.
The scoring for each fight gives 1 point for a decision win, 2 points for a KO/TKO win, and 0 points for a draw, with the captain’s points counting as double – Wilder will be representing Matchroom as their commander and skipper Sheeraz is the Queensberry pick.

“ODDS FOR THE 5 vs 5 OUT
“Opening odds have now been released for 4 of the Matchroom vs Queensberry 5 vs 5 fights.
“[Matchroom] have two favourites in Ray Ford and Fillip Hrgovic, [Queensbury Promotions] have two favourites in Zhilei Zhang and Hamzah Sheeraz.
“Dubois is the biggest underdog at 3/1”
Dubois was also the underdog in his last fight against 300lbs+ Jarrell Miller but he came through that tough test with a knockout win in the final seconds, so should not be written off.
