Rocky Fielding has withdrawn from his highly anticipated return to the ring so Marcus Browne steps in to face Brandon Glanton instead
Former World Title Challenger Marcus Browne (25-2, 16 KOs) steps in to face Brandon Glanton (20-3, 17 KOs) in a mouth-watering all-American shoot out, live on DAZN.
Browne brings a wealth of experience into the bout, having faced the likes of former undisputed light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev, unified world champion Jean Pascal, and three weight world champion Badou Jack.
Browne will be looking to make a statement and push on towards a world title challenge in 2026 against the likes of WBO World Champion Gilberto Ramirez (48-1, 30 KOs), IBF World Champion Jai Opetaia (28-0, 22 KOs), and finally giving WBC World Champion Badou Jack (29-3-3, 17 KOs) a shot at redemption after their bloody battle.
Cruiserweight contender Brandon Glanton (20-3, 17 KOs) fresh off the back of his toe-to-toe war with former World Champion Chris Billam-Smith (21-2, 13 KOs) on the undercard of Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn at the sold-out Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will look to return to winning ways and assert himself as America’s top cruiserweight.
The two fierce punching cruiserweights will battle in a bad-blood bout, stemming back to vicious sparring stories with the winner looking to get into the mix for world title contention at the top of the thriving cruiserweight division.
Marcus Browne said: “It’s been a long time coming. Glanton just wrote himself a check his ass won’t be able to cash!”
Brandon Glanton said: You know, this fight has been in the making for a long time now. It’s not only a fight that was supposed to happen, but it’s a fight that needs to happen. Not just for boxing but for the two of us to finally settle things. Marcus Browne is legitimately a bad human being. On October 1st there will be a reckoning.”
Rocky Fielding (30-3, 18 KOs) has withdrawn from his highly anticipated return to the ring in the main event, after a long hiatus from the sport.
British boxer Dan Azeez is still listed to fight on the stacked card
