Lennox Lewis previews upcoming Usyk vs Fury 2
Former undisputed heavyweight champion, Lennox Lewis, gave his verdict on the Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk rematch taking place on December 21 in Saudi Arabia, live on DAZN PPV.
In May this year, Ukrainian Usyk made history as the first undisputed world heavyweight champion crowned this century, taking over from Briton Lewis, who reigned in 2000.
The former undisputed cruiserweight champion was able to edge the Morecombe man via split decision, with a pivotal ninth round knockdown proving the difference on the scorecards.
Lennox Lewis has been seen this week attending the WBC Annual Convention in Hamburg, where he was presented with a special award for his contribution to boxing.
When asked his view on the upcoming rematch, the 59-year-old British boxing legend predicted, “This is going to be a good fight. Obviously there will be different tactics which will be done.
“Tyson Fury needs to do more boxing and get that jab going and be more effective in this second fight.
“You can’t really go against Usyk because he hasn’t lost.”
Usyk is the slight favourite at the bookies to repeat the feat, with Tyson the slight underdog. More predictions HERE
