Jake paul makes brand new signing
On Saturday night, Jake Paul will fight former Golden Gloves winner and 17-2 professional, Ryan Bourland, but it seems that ‘The Problem Child’ is already looking at potential opponents for the future, after signing a fighter whom has been consistently calling him out.
A few days ago, Neeraj Goyat approached Paul in person to demand a fight, just five years after he signed to fight Amir Khan, a fight which he was later forced to pull out. The Indian has defeated the likes of former featherweight world champion, Can Xu and went the distance with two-division world champion, Jose Zepeda, less than twelve months ago.
However, Goyat now has Paul firmly in his sights and to better the chances of an opportunity to take on the American, who fights at six weight-classes higher, the 32-year-old has now signed with Paul’s promotional outfit, MVP Promotions, much to the delight of their co-founder, Nakisa Bidarian, who labelled Goyat as a ‘pioneer of the boxing world’.

“Neeraj Goyat marks a historic milestone as MVP’s inaugural international athlete signee, and we couldn’t be more excited about his potential as a standout competitor and leader in the realm of boxing,”
“His viral callouts of Jake Paul certainly got our attention, and we’re honoured to welcome Neeraj into our family of exceptional athletes. The influence of both Indian fighters and the Indian boxing fan base has been undervalued on the global stage, and we eagerly anticipate shining a worldwide spotlight on one of India’s premier boxers. Neeraj stands as a pioneer in the boxing world, embodying the qualities of an exceptional athlete and leader for his people, that align seamlessly with our vision to amplify the sport on a global scale. This summer, Neeraj Goyat will be a key part of a global MVP event. Discussions have begun with potential opponents.”
Paul fights Bourland on Saturday March 2nd in Puerto Rico, live on DAZN, but Goyat could well be next in line.
