Frank Warren excited for clash of styles in headlining fight this Saturday
Frank Warren is on a high right now and is now looking forward to an upcoming fight that he thinks will be ‘fantastic.’
Warren and his Queensbury promotional outfit have been involved in some huge nights of boxing recently.
Back in October, his heavyweight star, Tyson Fury, fought out in Saudi Arabia against Francis Ngannou in a huge, groundbreaking event, then he was out there again to watch Ngannou get poleaxed by Anthony Joshua in early March, and will be back in the Kingdom again on May 18 for the undisputed showdown between Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.
In June, five fighters from his stable will be facing off against five opponents from Matchroom in a much anticipated 5 v 5 event that is set to be finalised soon.
However, Warren is also expecting a great night when Nathan Heaney and Brad Pauls clash with one another for the British middleweight title on Saturday night.
Speaking at the Magnificent Seven press conference to TNT Sports, he said the fight is set to be a good one.
“It’s got the ingredients of a fantastic fight. They’re both superbly prepared for the fight, I’ve spoken to both and they both fancy their chances and I think you’re gonna get a classic.
“The atmosphere is gonna be electric and it’s going to be about who imposes himself on this fight and who really gets going fast and commands the ring. That in itself is going to be interesting for me.
“No doubt about it, you’re gonna get a classic. Styles make fights and these styles will make a fight.”
Joe Joyce will also appear on the undercard in his comeback fight and the whole event will be shown live on TNT Sports.
