Devin Haney pokes fun at Ryan Garcia with latest impression
After months of back and forth, the long-awaited clash between Devin Haney (31-0, 15KOs) and Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20KOs) is finally on the horizon.
With neither man camera shy, months of social media jibes appear to be coming to a head, with the pay-per-view spectacle slated for April 20 in Brooklyn.
Haney is coming off the back of world title success in a second weight division, after outpointing Regis Prograis over twelve in one of the most dominant performances of 2023.
On the other hand, Garcia has had to work hard to rebuild his reputation after suffering a seventh-round stoppage defeat to Gervonta Davis last April.
He has since bounced back, with a fantastic KO win over Oscar Duarte in December.
Haney will no doubt be ‘King Ry’s’ toughest challenge to date, as the California boxer appears to be the man to beat, racking up 31 impressive professional wins at just 25 years of age.
Given Garcia’s social media following, it comes as no surprise that the two fighters have continued an online back and forth since the details of their bout were finally announced.
Most recently, Haney has taken to social media, mocking his opponent’s jump-rope skills, or lack thereof.
The video in question showcases ‘The Dream’ impersonating his rival, ‘recreating’ an infamous Instagram post made by Garcia earlier this month.

Fans were quick to respond to the champion’s insult, rallying in support of Haney with the video going viral across social media.
The video comes not long after the former undisputed lightweight champion accused his fellow 25-year-old of being drunk on stage at the launch press conference of their upcoming fight.
“You’ve been drinking. I can smell it on your breath,” Haney said during the pair’s face-off.
When the pair eventually meet in April, it will undoubtedly go down as one of the biggest fights of 2024.
