Canelo Alvarez shares impressive training footage during Jaime Munguia training camp
After some delay in announcing his next fight, Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez is now hard at work in the gym and has posted some incredible training footage ahead of taking on Jaime Munguia.
The Mexican superstar is known for his unwavering dedication to the sport. The Mexican is always in superb shape and always trains fiercely with coach Eddie Reynoso.
It is for that reason that he has lost just twice in over 50 fights since turning pro as a 15 year old despite having taken on the best of the best. He has cleared out several division from middleweight up to super middleweight and even beaten formerly feared light heavyweight champions like Sergey Kovalev, though did come unstuck against the superb Dimitri Bivol.
The two countrymen have a common opponent in John Ryder who they have both fought in the last year. ‘Canelo’ went the full 12 and won on points but failed to stop his man, while Munguia in his last contest managed to stop the plucky Brit inside the distance.
Michael Benson has now clipped up and shared a training video ‘Canelo’ shared on Instagram.

It seems as though ‘Canelo’ knows he will have to be at his best to see off the challenge of this young and hungry fighter when they come to blows in Las Vegas in Cinco de Mayo, even if Andre Ward does not think Canelo is an all time great.
