Troy Coleman leads BCB Promotions Backlash bill
After an unforgettable night on Friday, BCB Promotions will return to the Hangar Venue in Wolverhampton once more on December 6th for ‘Backlash’ headlined by Midlands Area middleweight champion Troy Coleman (13-3).
It will be the Burntwood man’s first fight since beating unbeaten Tom Cowling for the vacant belt in September by just a single point on the referee’s scorecard.
‘The Hawk’ had challenged unsuccessfully for the same belt in December 2020 against River Wilson-Bent, but finally got his hand on the prestigious prize over three years later with hard work, dedication and belief.
Coleman has also won the WBC Asian Continental title after six victories in Thailand. Coleman’s two other losses came in away fights in Dubai and Australia.
Wolverhampton Boxing Club are well represented, with Gully Powar (11-0), Lewis Morris (8-3), and Alex Round (3-0) all in action.
Birmingham’s Kane Baker (19-11-2) is back after a frustrating few months out of the ring, and the former Midlands Area champion will want to put on a big performance and put himself back on a televised show next year.
The exciting Tyselle ‘Trouble’ Walfall (1-0) had a memorable debut headlining in his hometown of Northampton, and the latest of the Team Shoe-box line is sure to put on a show.
Ben Andrews (3-0) has racked up the miles in his young career, and after fights in Brighton and Edinburgh, the former amateur standout from Torquay heads to Wolverhampton.
After starting his pro journey over in Germany, Jordan Hammonds (2-0), who is already scheduled to box on November 16th on BCB’s Unleashed, will face a quick turnaround.
Danny Skidmore (3-0) completes the lineup boxing for the fourth time in his first year in the paid ranks.
Tickets are available now priced £45 standard and £80 VIP Ringside from the boxers directly or by emailing info@bcb-promotions.com
