Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou fight has unique TV broadcast arrangement in the UK
Not only will the heavyweight clash between two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and UFC legend Francis Ngannou be shown on DAZN worldwide, but also on Sky Sports, which came as a surprise to many.
And now, the cost of the pay-per-view packages has been revealed:
DAZN – £19.99 and includes one months subscription
DAZN Members – £18.99 for existing subscribers
Sky Sports – TBA (Expected to match £19.99)
A similar arrangement has been set up for the May 18 undisputed heavyweight showdown between WBC holder Tyson Fury and unified titlist Oleksandr Usyk, except Sky Sports will likely be replaced by TNT Sports.
DAZN CEO Shay Segev said, “DAZN is the undisputed home of boxing, and it is an honour to have been chosen by Riyadh Season again as their global broadcast and distribution partner for ‘Knockout Chaos’.
“We share Riyadh Season’s ambitions and look forward to their trust by producing and broadcasting another blockbuster event Friday 8 March.”
Sky Sports Managing Director, Jonathan Licht added, “As the unrivalled home for sports fans in the UK and Ireland, Sky Sports is thrilled to offer our customers the chance to watch this eagerly awaited clash.”
