In their monthly newsletter, the IBO report on all the activity within their organisation, such as recent fight results, and look ahead to their upcoming schedule.
IBO Results
April 27: It was revenge last month in France when Marie Connan (7-3) took a unanimous decision victory over Ayelen Micaela Alejandra Granadino (10-2-4) in their rematch from 2023 to claim the IBO World Flyweight title.
May 4: Sarah “Baby Face” Bormann (18-1, 7KO) took a unanimous decision victory over Tamara Elisabet Demarco (11-7) earlier this month to claim the IBO World Minimumweight title in Ludwigshafen, Germany.
May 11: It was forging a legacy for gold medalist Lauren Price (7-0, 1KO), who put on a performance of a lifetime when she took a unanimous technical decision victory over IBO World Welterweight champion Jessica McCaskill in her home city of Cardiff, which was broadcast live on BBC Wales and Sky Sports.
May 18: The biggest Heavyweight fight in over 25 years had all the drama when IBO World Heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14KO) took a well-deserved victory over Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24KO) in Riyadh for all the marbles in the division. Read the full fight night live reports…
May 18: IBO World Super Featherweight champion Anthony Cacace was thrown into the Ring of Fire and pulled off a massive upset when he stopped the favoured Welsh Wizard Joe Cordina in round eight in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in mid-May.

June 1: The show goes on in Riyadh when IBO World Light Heavyweight champion Dmitrii Bivol meets former IBO Inter-continental Light Heavyweight champion Malik Zinad on June 1st after a training camp injury to Artur Beterbiev sidelined their mega-fight to the Fall.
June 6: Less than a week out until IBO Championship Boxing heads back to Montreal when knockout artist Osleys Iglesias defends his World Super Middleweight title to Evgeny Shvedenko.
June 15: The IBO World Super Welterweight title is up for grabs next month in South Africa at the Emperors Palace when Roarke Knapp takes on “Chino” Jorge Garcia Perez of Mexico.
June 29: IBO World Cruiserweight champion Yves “Smiling Assasin” Ngabu has a homecoming fight in the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo when he meets undefeated Mexican Kevin Martinez on June 29th.
June 30: “La Maquinita” Hector Andres Sosa returns to the ring next month when he defends his IBO World Featherweight title against American Keenan Carbajal in Phoenix, Arizona.
July 20: Everything is bigger in Texas. Just two months out until the biggest rematch in women’s boxing history goes down in Arlington as Amanda Serrano takes on IBO Super Lightweight champion Katie Taylor.
July 20: Undefeated IBO Super Bantamweight champion Liam Davies is set to make the first defence of his belt against undefeated Shabaz Masoud in Birmingham on July 20th, live on TNT Sports.

The IBO would like to congratulate former World Cruiserweight champion Danny “The Green Machine” Green on his induction to the Australian National Boxing Hall of Fame.
Daniel Thomas Green, born in Perth on March 9, 1973, now 51, was a Sydney 2000 Olympian, who turned pro in 2001 at the late age of 28, and went on to win the WBA light-heavyweight title from 2007 to 2008, the IBO cruiserweight title twice between 2009 and 2013, and the WBC interim super-middleweight title from 2003 to 2005.
He retired as the Australian cruiserweight champion in 2017, despite winning his last five fights, even beating Anthony Mundine in his final ever contest.
