Cheered by dozens of children at the Centro de Alto Rendiemento de Boxeo in Fresnillo, world champion Yuliahn ‘Cobrita’ Luna (24-3-1, 4KO), who will defend the WBC bantamweight title against the Silver champion, Argentine Vanesa Lorena Taborda (11-14-3. 1KO), both shook a leg… and a fist.
The spectacular card presented by Promociones del Pueblo, in association with BXSTRS Promotions, will be broadcast to all of Latin America through the international signal of ESPN Knockout from the Dome of the Fresnillo Fair, live to more than 20 countries.
The main event is champion Yuliahn Luna defends for the third time the title of the World Boxing Council against a rival of great international renown, Vanesa Lorena Taborda, the WBC Silver champion.
During a media workout, Yuliahn showed her high quality with precise distance management and excellent technique.
Taborda, who has achieved important victories abroad, showed that tireless style that characterizes her, and said she was happy to return to Mexico and eager to show that she is a stronger and more intelligent fighter than in previous bouts.
Bryan Mercado Vazquez, Jorge Mata, Rosario Sanchez Terrones, Axel Villa Miranda and Brandon Chaparro Mojica will all be in action on the undercard.

WBC Bantamweight champion Yuliahn ‘Cobrita’ Luna is poised for this Friday in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, to defend the bantamweight title of the World Boxing Council against Argentine Vanesa Lorena Taborda.
Taborda states that she travels to Mexico focused solely upon adding the Green and Gold world championship to her collection; “Let Luna take care of herself, I am in a great moment physically and I am going to take that beautiful belt away from her.”
