Boxing mourns the passing of Luis Quiñones
Young Colombian boxer Luis Quiñones (10-1, 6KO) has sadly died at the age of 25.
Luis Andres Quinones Guzman, 25, passed away in the early hours of this September 30th after having spent five days hospitalized, after the fight with his compatriot José Muñoz, last Saturday at the Elías Chegwin Coliseum, in Barranquilla.
After he finished the fight, Quiñones was taken to the General del Norte Hospital in Barranquilla, Colombia, where he was treated for a brain injury.
The World Boxing Council and its President Mauricio Sulaimán sent their deepest condolences to Luis’s family and friends.
