Curmel Moton, a highly anticipated professional debut
With an extraordinary amateur record with more than 130 victories that back it up, American sensation Curmel Moton is preparing to make his professional debut at the age of 17 on a premier stage: The T-Mobile Arena.
Curmel Moton will have a difficult debut as he will be facing Ezequiel Flores, who has a professional record of 4-0 with 3 KO’s. These fighters will face each other as part of the card starring Canelo and Jermell Charlo.
Moton trains regularly at the gym of legend Floyd Mayweather, who has mentioned on a couple of occasions that the young man could compete directly with the elite of the featherweight division and that he could become the sport’s next superstar.
Even though most young fighters don’t receive this amount of attention and pressure towards their debut, Moton remains with his feet firmly on the ground and prepared for his first fight as a professional.
Curmel won the WBC Amateur Belt at the 2018 Green And Gold Challenge.
