Who is Juan Jose Jurado?
Born in 1986, Juan Jose Jurado is currently 35 years old – 15 years McCann's senior!
Originally from San Salvador de Jujuy in northwest Argentina, he now lives in Los Polvorines, Buenos Aires, which has a population of over 50,000.
His boxing alias is 'Harry'.
His debut was eight years ago on November 16, 2013, and he beat another debutant, David Nicolas Klaus, on points.
He was unbeaten in 18 bouts between 2013-2018, but has lost his last four fights in a row. His quartet of conquerors' shared record was 57-7.
In his 14th fight, he won the Argentinian flyweight title via UD over Fabian Hernan Claro, despite going down in the last round.
In his next fight, he won the interim WBO Latino super-flyweight title.
In his last victory, in March 2018, he defended the Argentinian flyweight title via unanimous decision against Junior Leandro Zarate, who is now the reigning champion after winning the title in their rematch five months later.
He has also fought for the WBO Latino super-flyweight title but the contest ended in a draw.
He has fought 141 rounds over 22 fights.
He is ranked the fifth best bantamweight in Argentina.
Jurado was last seen in the ring losing in the seventh round of a scheduled 10 to Diego Alberto Ruiz, who UK fight fans will recognise from his last fight with Shabaz Masoud, and he previously went nine rounds with Michael Conlan in 2019.
Jurado is a 14/1 underdog at the bookies and McCann is 3/100 to win.
