Who is Luis Moreno?
Andrew Cain (9-0, 8KO) will be looking to continue his trail of destruction at York Hall on Friday night as he tackles tough Mexican Luis Moreno (10-2, 6KOs) at the famous Bethnal Green venue in a defence of his WBC International Silver title, a matter of weeks after winning the belt with a speedy demolition of Pablo Ariel Gomez in his last fight.
Cain, trained by Paul Stevenson at the Everton Red Triangle gym, is unbeaten in nine bouts, but his forthcoming foe possesses the best record of anyone he has faced so far in his career.
BBN took a look into Cain's 10th professional opponent right here:
Luis Enrique Moreno Montalvo was born in China, Nuevo Leon, Mexico in June 14, 1992.
The 29-year-old is ranked 90th from 255 super-bantamweights in Mexico. The No.1 is former two-weight WBC World champion, Luis 'Pantera' Nery.
His alias is 'Gallito', which simply translates to 'Cocky'!
He made his debut on June 7, 2017, almost five years ago now, in his home state and won by first round TKO.
He won his first four fights by knockout, all four-rounders, but in his first six-round bout he got to unfamiliar territory in the fifth round and was stopped by Bralton Munoz Davila.
'Gallito' bounced back strongly with five straight wins, until he came to the UK to face Dennis McCann where he was dropped in the eighth and final round, ultimately losing 71-80 on points.
