The World Boxing Council released their latest WBC International Committee updates on May 25, 2022, following a busy weekend of results:

Current WBC International Super Bantamweight champion
Born in Romania, based in Spain, Baluta won the vacant WBC International SuperBantam weight title against Brad Foster in London, last May 20th, in a show promoted by Frank Warren Queensberry. It was the same event that the aforementioned Cain fought on, with Baluta and Foster providing the main event entertainemnt of the evening.
The Madrid man scored perhaps the best win of his career in outpointing local fighter Foster, who was looking to bounce back from defeat to British, Commonwealth, European champ Jason Cunningham last year.
'Il Capo' Ionut claimed a unanimous 10-round decision to win the vacant WBC International super-bantamweight title in a fight which many thought home fighter Brade 'The Blade' would win.
Zhan Kossobutskiy
Current WBC International Heavyweight champion
Kazakhstan’s Zhan Kossobutskiy (18-0, 17KO) won the vacant WBC International Heavyweight title when he stopped former world title challenger Johann Duhaupas (39-6, 26KO) in six.
The 41-year-old Frenchman retired on his stall after round five and wouldn't come back out for the sixth stanza.
The vacant championship was promoted by Universum in Hamburg on May 21.
The last titleholder was Congolese combatant Martin Bakole, who is also coming off a big win, having just defeated Olympian Tony yoka on away soil. These two would make for a good pairing in the ring.
Hamzah Sheeraz
Current WBC International Middleweight Silver champion
Hamzah was born on May 25, 1999 in Slough, Berkshire, England.
Talking about his parents and their background, he belongs to a boxer family as his father and his grandfather were boxers. He proudly decided to follow his parent’s footsteps.
His height stands at 6 feet and 3 inches tall which is about 191 cm high and is among the tallest boxers in his weight class in the country.
About his ethnicity, he belongs to an Asian ethnic group and follows the Muslim religion.
Hamzah has just been recognised this week as the best young boxer in UK last year.
He is the current WBC International Middleweight Silver champion.
