Mace Ruegg heads to Spain for fifth pro contest
Mace Ruegg will look to continue the perfect start to his professional career when he competes on a show taking place in Spain next month.
Undefeated Ruegg (4-0) will fight at the Campo Municipal De Futbol El Duende in Malaga, with the event taking place on Saturday, June 5.
The Bournemouth boxer has impressed since making his debut back in 2020, with his most recent win coming in March when he earned a dominant points win over Levi Dunn.
21-year-old Ruegg has already had two fights in Spain during his career, with the 21-year-old securing victories over Sandro Hernandez and Michael Isaac Carrero in 2020. His pro debut was in his home town of Bournemouth in February 2020 and his last fight was on an MTK show in March this year.
All four victories have ended in shutout points wins to the Dorset man.
Ruegg began in Thai boxing and went on to wow crowds in the Queensbury Boxing League, where he won the Regional Title. As the son of former pro Danny Ruegg, who boasts a win over Michael Gomez on his record, the youngster lays claim to experiencing over 200 fights before turning pro.
