Aréchiga and Alvarado zapping for the NABF title
IZAPARI BOXING PROMOTIONS are in zap mode for Jesús Arechiga (20-0, 14KO) and Luis Alvarado Morales (8-2, 1KO), who fight on Friday, October 20, for the NABF super-bantamweight title.
And it’s endorsed by the commissioner of the World Boxing Council, Abraham Ibarra.
Unbeaten Jesús “Veneno” Aréchiga, 23 from Sinaloa, and Luis “Iron Boy” Alvarado, 22 from Cuernavaca, Morelos, have both commented that they are in tip top shape.
This Thursday the official weighing took place without any problems. Juan Alvarado registered 55 Kg, while Jesús Arechiga was 55.1 Kg.
Undefeated youngster Jesús Eduardo Arechiga Valdez is closing in on the top 10 super-bantamweights in Mexico after 20 wins and 14 knockouts, currently boasting a fearsome 70% KO ratio, only having to complete 87 rounds from a scheduled 130.
Luis Raúl Alvarado Morales, ranked 34th in Mexico, lost his pro debut in 2019 on a split decision but then went on an eight-fight win streak until he was defeated for a second time in his last bout in May.
