Ready! Amina Zidani and Nina Pavlovic in La Belle France
French female Amina Zidani (3-0, 1KO) is ready to continue making her dreams come true this Saturday, December 17, when she will headline an important boxing event organised by Don’t Panik Team.
Super-featherweight Zidani wants to conquer the WBC Francophone belt when she faces Serbian Nina Pavlovic (7-4-1, 1KO) this festive weekend.
The 25-year-old Serbian is a world title contender with four times the bouts that Zidani has had. The No.1 super-featherweight in her country challenged Maiva Hamadouche for the IBF World super-featerweight title in 2020, but was stopped in round eight of 10.
With 67 rounds under her belt compared to Zidani's lowly 16, she certainly has the upper hand in experience. However, the French fighter will have the confidence that being undefeated brings and comes into the bout off the back of a knockout result, plus she is the home fighter in the normandy region of Northern France.
The weigh-in ceremony took place in Honfleur near LE HAVRE in France on Friday, December 16:
Pavolovic: 58.3kg
Zidani: 58.65kg
