Undercard Highlights
There’s a trio of supporting heavyweight bouts featuring some top prospects and contenders:
#1 The ‘Babyface’ from Brooklyn Adam Kownacki (20-1, 15 KOs) gets a chance to avenge his sole career defeat to ‘The Nordic Nightmare’ Robert Helenius (30-3, 19 KOs).
The Swedish heavyweight scored an upset victory over the previously unbeaten Pole by stopping him in the fourth round of a WBA Heavyweight Title Eliminator in March 2020, which also saw Helenius become the proud owner of the WBA Gold title, previously held by Londoner Joe Joyce.
#2 ‘Big Baby’ Jared Anderson (9-0, 9KOs), 21 from Ohio, enters into his third eight-rounder with the aim to continue the theme of knocking out all his opponents, but he’ll be tested by unbeaten Russian Vladimir Tereshki (22-0-1, 12KOs).
#3 There’s a third tantalising heavyweight bout between unbeaten Nigerian talent Efe Ajagba (15-0, 12KOs) and ‘The Cuban flash’ Frank Sanchez (18-0, 13KOs), as the pair vye for the vacant WBO NABO title.

Quotes
Fury: “It was a crazy roller coaster toward this fight. I always say, ‘you’re never fighting someone, until you’re in the ring opposite them.’ It wasn’t hard for me to adjust to fighting Deontay Wilder again. It’s what I’m paid to do. I hope Deontay brings something different for this fight. He needs to, if we’re facing facts. I hope he brings a challenge. Hopefully Malik Scott can bring the best out of Deontay Wilder.
“The beating from the last fight has had a physical, mental and emotional effect on his life. I was worried about him after the way I beat him. Deontay Wilder is a one-trick pony. He’s got great one-punch knockout power. I’m going to run him over like I’m an 18-wheeler. I guarantee he doesn’t go past where he did in the second fight. I’m looking for a big knockout straight away. He said all this stuff about bloodshed last time and we all know what happened last time.”
Wilder: “Enough has been said. It’s time to cut off his head. There will be bloodshed. Get your tickets now and I’ll see you soon.
“A lot of things are going to be different in this fight. We’re going to reveal everything we’ve been working on.
I didn’t feel any way about Fury trying to negotiate another fight. We knew we were in the right and we knew they couldn’t run. Silence is golden. I’ve been happy and even happier in my time off. I’ve had time to spend with my family and now I’m rejuvenated and ready to go. I’ve been training non-stop during the pandemic and I’ve been building. All this time between fights is going to be good for me and bad for him. I’ve had nothing but time to progress. Whatever he does, we will have an answer for it. I’m training very hard and my mind is very violent. I’m ready to go.”
Background
This pair of heavyweights are going to go down in history as one of the greatest trilogies and rivalries ever.
Their first fight in December 2018 produced such dramatics that the discussions that still rage on today. American fans claim there was a long count in the final round, which saw Fury decked heavily then incredibly rise up from the canvas to end the contest showboating with his hands behind his back. The draw was greeted with disappointment from many spectators who believed the Brit had been in control the entire contest.
Then, Fury teamed up with Sugarhill Steward and took on the Kronk Gym mentality to score knockouts and he subsequently battered the unbeaten Alabaman all over the place during the rematch until the towel was rightfully thrown in during the seventh stanza by his corner.
Now, they meet for a third and final time to complete the set, with Wilder promising bloodshed and Fury predicting an even earlier finish than before.
Predictions
Tim Rickson, BBN Editor: “I believe Tyson will approach the fight the same way as the last one, with the ‘Kronk Gym mentality’ to score an early knockout. It worked before so why change a winning formula? Wilder had never been tested like that before, so was totally surprised by his one and only conqueror, but I think he will be more formidable as an opponent this time, with revenge in mind and pride at stake, and will have that killer instinct to watch out for. He stunned Fury in the first round of their second fight, which he managed to shake off and stay upright, but he admitted afterwards that he almost saw stars. So, no matter what happens, Wilder can land those ‘turn your lights out’ shots at any given time and as early as the first minute of the fight, which sparring partners have likened to ‘bullets’. If Fury can get in close, lean on Wilder, clinch and use his strength and bullying tactics, then I think he wins even quicker than before – within six rounds. I’m hoping he ploughs into him from the first bell and KOs Wilder in one or two rounds. Wilder is too brave for his own good, so if Fury floors him, he will get back up as many times as it takes. In my head, I think Fury could stop him by round four, but like I said previously, Wilder could score a knockout punch at any given time if Fury sits off him, so he has to stay close at all times.”
