"He’s like LeBron James!"
Tyson Fury’s new coach Sugar Hill Steward has compared ‘The Gypsy King’ to basketball superstar LeBron James.
Undefeated lineal world heavyweight king Fury (29-0-1, 20 KOs) is preparing for a WBC world title rematch with Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas on February 22 under Steward and another legend of the Kronk gym, Andy Lee.
With the team moving up through the gears with six weeks to go until fight night, Steward is enthusiastic over working with Fury again.
Steward said: “Tyson loves to dance. He’s very creative. He’s so athletic and coordinated for such a big man. He’s like LeBron James!
“You can group Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder being one-punch guys. They don’t have some of the other things Tyson does, but Tyson can also get you out there with one punch. Tyson has character and charisma and that strong desire to win.
“2020 is going to be a huge year for Tyson. The way I was brought up, I want him to be undisputed heavyweight champion.
“I’m not a big talker, really. Me and Tyson are on the same page. We speak about things we’re going to work on. We’re in agreement. We’re satisfied and I think he can do the job. It’s a perfect combination.
“2020 is a good year. All this positive energy is going to put us in the right place.”
Many believe Fury has already beaten Wilder back in December 2018, when he sensationally rose from the canvas in the final round to finish the fight on the front foot.
Fury shocked the world of boxing in November 2015 when he dethroned the long-reigning Wladimir Klitschko to seize the WBA Super, WBO and IBF world crowns.
