Tyson Fury: “Canelo has fought them all but never a fighting Gypsy"
Tyson Fury says that fellow traveller Billy Joe Saunders is a different breed of animal to anything that Canelo Alvarez has ever come across ahead of their unification showdown next month.
The highly-anticipated event takes place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday 8 May, and will be broadcast worldwide on DAZN.
It sees unbeaten WBO super-middleweight champion Saunders (30-0, 14 KOs) enter the biggest fight of his life when he goes up against WBC and WBA champion Canelo (55-1-2, 37 KOs), and Fury is confident that Saunders will come out on top.
'The Gypsy King' said: “Billy Joe Saunders is 100% mentally in the right place. He knows what he has to do and he will do it. He will rise up top and claim greatness.
“I was written off many times in the past and have always come through. We are cut from the same cloth and are the same breed of animals.
“Canelo has fought them all but never a fighting Gypsy. We are a different breed of animal to anything he has come across before. He will have world domination.”
