Kenia Enríquez ready for Ibeth Zamora
Kenia Enríquez (26-1, 11KO), a two-time world champion, will face three-time world sovereign, Ibeth ‘La Roca’ Zamora (33-7, 13KO) on Sunday, September 10 at the Arena La Paz in Baja California Sur, Mexico.
“A very important commitment is coming up and success is not obtained without sacrifices, passion and a lot of hard work… a diamond is forged under pressure,” warned 29-year-old Mexican, Kenia, who is already in the hard phase of her training with the firm intention of achieving her objective, which is none other than to be crowned champion again.
Kenia Stephanie Enríquez Rosas, former World Boxing Council champion from Tijuana, will enter this contest with a record of 26 wins, 11 KO’s and just a single loss.
As for her part, the former WBC straw and fly champion, Ibeth Zamora, at 34 years of age, she had built a record of 33 wins, 13 KO’s and 7 losses, and is confident of obtaining a resounding victory with which she can become to position in the elite.
Enríquez vs Zamora is presented by Eric Ibarra’s TM Boxing, with support from Imagen TV and Caliente.mx will take place on Sunday, September 10 at the Arena La Paz in Baja California Sur and can be seen through the Imagen Televisión signal in its Box with Image serial.
The narration will be in charge of Eduardo Camarena, former world champions Erik ‘Terrible’ Morales, Jorge ‘Travieso’ Arce, Fernando ‘Kochulito’ Montiel, Juan Manuel and Rafael Márquez.
