The New Era was JE Promotions' first show of the year on the last weekend in February in Maidstone.
Promoter Joe Elfidh secured a clean sweep for all his fighters which included unbeaten prospects, a Southern Area title contender, and an exciting ex-England International.

Surrey’s Harrison and Yorkshire’s Snow (4-10-1) kicked off the evening’s proceedings in a four-round light-heavyweight contest. Harrison, 31 from Chessington, prevailed on points, doubling his win count.

Luke Gibbo (1-0) W PTS v Ibrar Riyaz (4-114-4)
Former Team GB boxer Luke Gibbo kicked off his paid career with a shutout points win over seasoned veteran Ibrar Riyaz.
31-year-old Blackburn-born Ibrar Riyaz enters the ring first as the away fighter
Luke Gibbo emerged to an ear-splitting roar having sold over 200 tickets to his debut
The 25-year-old decorated amateur transitioned seamlessly into the paid ranks with a debut win
Oli Edwards (4-0) TKO 3 v Scott Hillman (0-16)
22-year-old Oli Edwards from the Invicta Gym in Sheerness sizzled in a third-round stoppage win – his second consecutive TKO and his opponent's career-first stoppage defeat.
Edwards flanked by Southern Area middleweight champion Grant Dennis with trainer Ray Askew following behind.

It was a one-sided beatdown by Edwards so the referee put an end to Hillman's punishment at 2:36 in the third round
Martin Hillman (9-3) W PTS v Kamil Jaworek (3-5)
Sidcup’s Hillman got through a scrappy fight with Polish opponent Jaworek to secure his ninth professional win.

Chris Matthews (6-0) W PTS v Russ Midgley (1-14-2)
Unbeaten super-featherweight Chris Matthews continued his unbeaten streak with a points win over 34-year-old Russ Midgley from Yorkshire.

Matthews moves up to 6-0 and moves on to six-rounders next
