Florian Marku vs Miguel Parra Ramírez will clash for WBC Silver title
Boxxer-promoted welterweight Florian Marku (11-0-1, 7KOs) has made a home for his boxing career in the UK, becoming a hot prospect, but now the 29-year-old superstar is set for his long awaited homecoming.
Southpaw Marku, the current IBF International welterweight champion, will face the Mexican Miguel Parra Ramírez (21-2-1, 14KO) at the Air Albania Stadium in Tirana, Albania, with the World Boxing Council Silver Welterweight title at stake, on August 25.
The 'Albanian King', who is trained by Grant Smith in Sheffield and managed by Adam Morallee’s SJAM Boxing, will be looking to fill the 20,000+ capacity football stadium in his home country.
Parra Ramírez has only boxed outside of Mexico once, in the United States in May 2019, when he defeated David Morales at the Tucson, Arizona Convention Center.
