Skye Nicolson defeats Lucy Wildheart in nine
Unbeaten Aussie Skye Nicolson (9-0, 1KO) had a brilliant night in Dublin, to defend her interim WBC featherweight crown by defeating Sweden’s Lucy Wildheart (10-3, 4KO).
Nicolson maintained a constant dynamic, circling the ring, using an aggressive offense to dominate Wildheart.
From the beginning of the fight, Skye imposed conditions by making Lucy pay every time she fell short in her offensive.
Nicolson quickly neutralized the speed of her rival to land constant right hooks straight lefts.
By the ninth, her dominance was already more than overwhelming and Wildheart’s corner decided to stop her actions when they noticed Lucy visibly affected and with a lot of blood coming from her nose.
At the end of the fight, Skye Nicolson confirmed that she was ready to face the Puerto Rican superstar, Amanda Serrano.
