Bohachuk keen to defend WBC Continental Americas title
Tom Loeffler’s 360 Promotions will host a card at California’s Chumash Casino Resort on Saturday, July 22 with a sensational main event featuring WBC #3 ranked super welterweight Serhii “Flaco” Bohachuk (22-1, 22 KOs), from Vinitza, Ukraine.
He will be defending his World Boxing Council Continental Americas Championship against former world title challenger Patrick Allotey (42-4, 32 KOs), from Accra, Ghana, broadcast globally on UFC FIGHT PASS.
Tom Loeffler said: “We are excited to announce our next Hollywood Fight Nights Show on Saturday, July 22 live on UFC Fight Pass. We can’t wait to bring world-class boxing back to Chumash Casino Resort with Serhii Bohachuk defending his WBC Continental Americas Championship against the tough Patrick Allotey.
“This is going to be a great boxing weekend for the fans to come to the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley.”
“I am happy to be back in the ring on July 22 and I look forward to defending my title against Patrick Allotey,” said Serhii Bohachuk. “I saw him fight Jaime Munguía and I think this will be another great challenge to show that I am ready to become a world champion.”
Known internationally for his impressive knockouts that have accounted for all of his victories, Bohachuk, 28, returns to the fray after knocking out Nathaniel Gallimore in the sixth round on January 27, 2023, his fourth consecutive win. Among his other knockout victories during this impressive streak were Aaron Coley, Raphael Igbokwe and Brandon Baue.
The hard-hitting Allotey, from Ghana, challenged current middleweight Jaime Munguia in a hotly contested world championship battle in 2019. Most recently, he scored an eighth-round knockout of Hamisi Maya on March 22, 2022 in Accra, Ghana. Among the other notable names Allotey has clashed with during his sixteen years as a professional are Kanat Islam, Patrick Teixeira and Charles Manyuchi.
