Trio of WBC title fights on display in Italy

Unbeaten Nigerian Samuel Nmomah (19-0, 5KO) won the WBC International Silver middleweight title by defeating Cuban-born Italian Giovanni Rossetti (12-3, 5KO).
The fight was close but the judges rewarded the greater activity and drive of the Lagos-born fighter, who resides in Novara, Italy, granting the 26-year-old the victory in the first title fight of his career. 23-year-old 'Nino' Rossetti is a former Italian middleweight champion and drops to his third defeat in 15 contests.
Italian Dario Morello (22-1, 4KO), 30 from Lombardia, won the WBC Mediterranean middleweight title by defeating 26-year-old Nigerian Joshua Nmomah (13-2, 4KO).
The 10-round championship fight was close and the judges saw Morello the winner after the 30 minutes of action.
In another fight for the WBC Mediterranean super welterweight title, 27-year-ol Milan man Christian Mazzon (12-4, 4KO) and Roma's Khalil El Harraz (15-5-1, 1KO) offered a great contest.
The fight was closely contested, but without a doubt Mazzon got the better of most of the rounds, obtaining the victory on all three judges’ cards with a score of 97 to 93.
