What a shiner! Rozicki wins NABF title
Canadian Ryan “The Bruiser” Rozicki (19-1, 18KO) captured the NABF cruiserweight crown by defeating former champion Alante Green (10-2-1) at the Hamilton, Ontario Convention Center this weekend.
It was a tough and close fight from the beginning, until 28-year-old Canadian Rozicki connected with power in round 10, sending him to the canvas, stopping the fight with just 65 seconds remaining. His 18th knockout from 19 bouts has sent his KO ratio up to 95%!
“I congratulate Alante and his team, it was a very complicated fight, but I went in with a combat plan and was able to achieve the victory,” Rozicki commented.
Ryan, ranked No.8 in the WBC, has won six straight fights since his only loss against Oscar Rivas for the WBC Bridger world title in 2021.
In the co-main event a battle of the undefeated took place. Canadian prospect John Michael Bianco (5-0, 4KO) scored a seventh-round knockout over Vancouver’s Samuel Moses (6-1, 5KO) for the Canadian national super middleweight title.
The event was promoted by Dan Otter’s Three Lions Promotions.
