British fight fans can watch live on FITE TV from 10pm
On Saturday, June 10, at the Halifax Forum in Nova Scotia, Canada, hard-hitting Canadian fighter Ryan Rozicki (17-1, 16KO) will face Frenchman Jean Jacques Olivier (15-2-1, 10KO) for the World Boxing Council Silver Cruiserweight title.
Rozicki, known as 'The Bruiser', was born in Nova Scotia and the 28-year-old comes into this bout after defeating Latvian Arturs Gorlovs by third round knockout in Canada last February.
Ranked WBC #8, he hasn't lost since his defeat to Oscar Rivas in 2021, reeling off three knockout wins in rounds one, two and three, and a split decision victory over unbeaten Yamil Alberto Peralta, which was later overturned to a No Contest after all the officials from Canada were accused of being biased.
While Olivier in France last December, defeated Argentine Roberto Dionicio Moreno by decision. The 35-year-old Parisien hasn't lost a fight in over five years, he has won seven of his last eight with one draw, including four knockouts. Within this period he collected French and European Union titles.
The card is scheduled to start at 5pm Eastern time / 10pm BST and will be broadcast on the FITE TV platform.
