Rising super lightweight star Joshua Pagan ready for next test
Super lightweightJoshua Pagan, a rising prospect who fights out of the Salita Promotions stable,will enter the ring this Saturday, April 15 in a six-round matchup Gabriel Smith from the Masonic Temple in Detroit. Pagan most recently earned a career-best win by stopping the previously unbeaten Ronnell Burnett in three rounds on June 3.

Pagan (7-0, 3 KOs) won the 2021 U.S. Amateur Welterweight National Championship with a unanimous decision over Keon Davis. The 23-year-old followed that up by turning pro in January 2022 and earning four victories that year. Pagan has stayed busy in 2023 as he continues his journey from prospect to contender. He will enter the ring for the fourth time this year on Saturday night when he faces the 33-year-old Houston-native Smith (11-9-1, 4 KOs).
