Daniel Dubois humbled loudmouth Jarrell Miller
Finally, drug cheat and disgraced heavyweight Jarrell Miller (26-1-1, 22KO) got exactly what he deserved at the hands of powerful Daniel Dubois (20-2, 19KO) in Riyadh on December 23.
South London powerhouse Dubois, 26, stopped American Miller with just eight seconds to go in the 10-round heavyweight contest.
Here's the reactions from BBN's panel of experts:
Luke Campbell MBE World title contender
"Dubios did great! I thought he boxed really well. I’m happy he got the win. Miller put on a lot of pressure, but in the end he was just a walking punch bag with no intelligence in his work."
Matt MarshFormer British champion
"Daniel Dubois boxed well to get the late stoppage against a tough Jarrell Miller, but Miller is a slow starter and he couldn’t get into his rhythm, as Dubois wouldn’t let him."
Troy WilliamsonFormer British champion
"Strong performance. That's Miller finished! Hopefully we don't see him anymore! Big juice-taking cheat!
"Well done Daniel Dubois"
Shaun RyeBoxing writer
"Hopefully, we can enjoy a bit of peace from that pumped up cheating pudding of a boxer for a while. Well done DD!!"
Don CharlesDubois' trainer
"Would I have taken the stoppage, in fact, I just wanted to take a win.
"Even at that late stage in the fight, to possess such a power to take out a 25stone man, is not easy. He gave Miller some tremendous hooks, left hooks, right hooks, and because Miller is so heavy, like he can take those shots, but in the end, he couldn't take anymore.
"I'm ecstatic, I really am."

"What a fight this was, but mostly because, as Dubois fans, we were so worried and on the edge of our seat all the way through! He doesn't let you relax and enjoy his fights, as a fan, does he?! Your heart is in your mouth all the way through!
"He won the first two rounds, boxing intelligently from range and moving laterally. But then, in the middle of round three, Miller started to close the gap and Dubois stopped moving, and it seemed as so Miller had turned it into his fight for the next few rounds. Then Dubois started to show signs of improvements in the sixth, and from then onwards, he was back in control. Rounds 3-6 were worrying, but Dubois came through the scary moments to finish strong, and his stoppage in the dying seconds was the icing on the cake.
"Miller has a granite chin, so it took a lot for Dubois to chop, chop, chop away at the giant oak tree until it fell. So that was a great performance from the youngster and he proved to everyone – after two stoppage defeats by jabs – that he does have heart and guts. Plus, he promised everyone he would make him quit, so fair play for seeing it through. Also, it was good to see Daniel find his voice and personality, and to get involved in the hype. He showed his fun side and everyone loved to see it. What a fantastic end to the year for him.
"I'm so pleased to see the drug cheat get humbled, finally. He has trash talked, pushed and shoved, and cheated his way to a big payday in Saudi, which he absolutley does not deserve. I really hope he takes his money and disappears, because he is no good for the sport.
"After that tough test, Dubois should have a lot of options in 2024. There's the Joe Joyce rematch fans will want to see, Martin Bakole in the UK, Agit Kabayel for the European, Fabio Wardley even… lots of options, but I trust Frank to guide him sensibly. I can imagine him finding an old Johsua or Fury opponent to fight, with the intention of performing better to draw comparisons."
Marshall Kauffman Boxing Promoter
"I am very happy for Dubois, who has lacked confidence and a good chin in the past, but he proved that he is a top 10 heavyweight with that win, and Big Baby should not return to the ring until he is at least 260lbs or never return!"
Arijan Goricki IBO International title contender
"I never rated Miller as a world ranked fighter, I always thought that he is there only because of his mouth and Dubois was able to show that. I think it's a good win for Dubois and his activity."
