Promoter Joe Elfidh unveiled JE Promotions’ latest signing as ex-International amateur champion Bart Ski.
The former three-time national amateur champion moved from his native country Poland to Worksop in Yorkshire over five years ago.
Ski said, “My last fight was in Poland over five or six years ago. In my amateur career, I was the three-time national champion of Poland, I had about 90 amateur fights and was an international boxer.”
Ski won a plethora of titles as an amateur peaking with a bronze medal in the European Championships in Warsaw in 2008.
He told JE Sports Network in an interview recently that he will be looking to compete in the professional ranks between 154lbs – 160lbs, he confirmed, “I will compete at middleweight, but once I’m fit and ready then I could possibly fight in the weight division below.”
Ski’s family also reside in Worksop and the likeable boxer has made many friends and work friends since moving to the UK and also has a Polish contingency to count on when it comes to selling tickets for his next fight slated for July 1st at the North Notts Arena.
Bart’s manager Joe Elfidh commented on his new prospect, “I’ve watched him training and you can see his amateur pedigree coming through.
“He’s hard working and we’re looking at getting him out on the next show in Worksop on July 1st.”
