Panagiotis Tsochataridis wins WBC Mediterranean title
In an event promoted by Target Sports Management Agency in Athens, Greece, undefeated welterweight Panagiotis Tsochataridis (11-0-1, 6KO) defeated Frenchman Melvin Moreau (11-6-1, 5KO) by UD to claim the WBC Mediterranean welterweight title.
21-year-old Tsochataridis began fast, busy and effective against Moreau, a brave fighter who never stopped looking for the knockout.
The fight involved non- stop action and the fans were elated with the performance of these two warriors.
Victorious Panagiotis conquered the Mediterranean welterweight title endorsed by the World Boxing Council. The supervisor for the fight was WBC Vice President Houcine Houichi.
Panagiotis is the No.1 welterweight in his country and will now be looking to build upon this title win to raise his position in the WBC world rankings.
