Wise fights out of the extremely talented Fight Farm gym run by Essex-based trainer Kevin Lilley, and he can’t wait to enter the paid ranks alongside his new team.
Wise said: “I’m buzzing to be signing with MTK Global. I have seen in the past few years how much they have grown and helped fighters achieve their goals, so with the support from MTK and my trainer Kevin Lilley, I hope I can achieve good things.
“It’s very good to be a part of the same team as some brilliant fighters. They’re at the top of their game and involved in massive fights, so for me to be signed alongside them make me very happy.
“My fast hands is a good attribute to my style. I like to move my head a lot to make myself as illusive as I can. Since working with my trainer Kevin Lilley we’ve been working on my feet a lot which is really benefiting my style.
“I’m hoping to have my first professional fight around April time. I’m very excited to get the journey started and 2020 is going to be a massive year for me.
“Ever since I was a kid I’ve dreamed of being a professional boxer. I’m looking forward to my debut so I can showcase the work I have been producing in the gym.”
Promoter Lee Eaton added: “We’re really pleased to welcome Charlie Wise to the team and we’re excited for his professional debut later this year.
“He’s part of a fantastic training set-up led by Kevin Lilley and will be training alongside great fighters like Danny Dignum, Daniel Egbunike and Inder Bassi Singh, so we’re confident he’ll achieve good things in the sport.”
Details on Wise’s professional debut will be announced in due course.
