Team Combat League signs heavyweight contender Michael Hunter

Team Combat League (TCL) have announced the signing of heavyweight contender Michael "The Bounty" Hunter to its organization.
The former cruiserweight champion, who boasts an impressive record of (20-1-2, 14 KOs), will be fighting on Team Las Vegas Hustle. Hunter is set to face off against two formidable opponents in the upcoming bouts, Hasim Rahman Jr. (14-2, 6 KOs) and Norman Neely (14-1, 9 KOs) of the D.C. Destroyers.
The action-packed bouts will take place on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the Mohegan Sun Expo Center in Connecticut. Hunter's fans are eagerly anticipating his performance in the ring as he looks to cement his status as a top heavyweight in the league.

The night will get started with a bang in a clash between two marquee franchises, the DC Destroyers led by Barry Hunter and Las Vegas Hustle coached by League President Dewey Cooper. DC’s Hasim Rahman Jr. will face off against new Las Vegas addition, Michael “Bounty” Hunter in the can’t miss fight of the night.
In the second match, LA Tengoose led by 20-0 Argentinian Champion Alejandro Silva (2-2 in TCL with one knockout and one knockdown) will face off against
Atlanta Attack and its breakout star Khalid Johnson (1-0 with one knockout in TCL). The bout will also feature LA’s always dangerous Vlad Panin taking on Atlanta’s veteran KeAndrae Leatherwood and two long awaited season debuts of fighters expected to be league stars, Ronald Ellis for LA and Devonte Williams for Atlanta. This action packed bout will also include a clash between the league’s two breakout female stars face each other in Ten Goose’s Iyana “Right Hand Roxy” Verduzco and the Attack’s Mona Ward.
Finally, the undefeated NYC Attitude will take on the Dallas Enforcers in a pivotal matchup with significant playoff implications. This fight will feature an intriguing matchup @ 147 between emerging stars Darrius “Hawk” Jackson of NYC and AJ Graham of Dallas. At heavyweight it will be a battle of the Taylors, Adrian for Dallas (America’s number 1 ranked cruiserweight) and NYC’s powerhouse Pryce.

About Team Combat League:
Team Combat League competitions employ a unique and exclusive point scoring system. Each match contains 18 three-minute rounds of nonstop action. Teams compete across six weight categories, five male and one female. Each round is scored individually with additional points added for knockouts and knockdowns. There are three judges appointed by a licensed boxing commission. A round is scored 10-9 to the winner for any round judged by decision. A round that features a knockdown is scored 10-8 to the winner and any round in which there is two knockdowns or a stoppage is scored 10-7 for the winner. It’s not rocket science, at the conclusion of the 18 rounds, the team with the most points wins!
