Martin Bakole will clash with WBA Pan African heavyweight title contender Haruna Osumanu
Martin Bakole will make his highly-anticipated return to the ring when he takes on Haruna Osumanu in a heavyweight showdown on September 18.
The pair will collide in Dubai on the undercard of the clash between strongman-turned-boxer Thor Bjornsson, and arm wrestling legend Devon Larratt, and it will be broadcast live on CoreSports.World.
Bakole (16-1, 12 KOs) is back following his unanimous decision victory over Sergey Kuzmin in December, winning the WBC International heavyweight title in the process.
He has spent the last few weeks in camp with Oleksandr Usyk, ahead of the Ukrainian’s clash with Anthony Joshua for the IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight titles on September 25.
Osumanu (11-2, 7 KOs) has won all but two of his professional fights, and has shared the ring with former Daniel Dubois opponent Ebenezer Tetteh, and undefeated Russian prospect Arslan Iallyev.
Elsewhere on the card in Dubai on September 18, CrossFit rivals Josh Bridges and Jacob Heppner collide, while the likes of Avril Mathie, Stefi Cohen and more are all in action too.
