Unbeaten Marcus Hodgson signs contracts with Goodwin Boxing after two years out
Goodwin Boxing have announced the signing of undefeated Super-Bantamweight Marcus Hodgson (2-0-1) on a three-year management contract.
Devon-born Hodgson is an experienced amateur with 65 fights under his belt before he turned professional in July 2016, where he went undefeated in three fights before taking a sabbatical in February 2017.
Two years later and the fire has rekindled, “I am now really happy with the team I have around me. At my weight, I am aiming for titles and in double quick fashion,” urged Marcus.
The 29-year-old will be trained in Devon by the dynamic duo of Shane Radmore and Marlee Dann and is expected to make his Goodwin debut in October/November 2019.
Steve Goodwin said, “We are delighted to welcome Marcus to the team. The Super-Bantamweight division is wide open and we will be developing Marcus through to titles and I would expect him to collect his first title in 2020. The journey will be exciting and we cannot wait for it to start.”
