Sporting Index’s boxing experts crunch the numbers and expect bout to last 30 minutes
Manny Pacquiao will secure a 10th round victory over Yordenis Ugas in their WBA ‘super’ lightweight title fight on Saturday, according to Sporting Index.
The Filipino star aims to give his supporters a knockout viewing over the Cuban champion, but according to the boxing experts at the betting firm, that won’t arrive until late in the fight.
According to Sporting Index’s projections, that would see the two fighters go toe-to-toe for 30 minutes in Las Vegas, which should prove to be no issue to PacMan, who claims to be training for 30 rounds per day in his current training camp.
Neville Burdock, Head Trader at Sporting Index, said: “This isn’t the fight Manny Pacquiao planned for, after seeing Errol Spence forced to pull out due to injury, but he’ll be facing a worthy replacement in Yordenis Ugas and the Cuban will fancy his chances of causing an upset.
“We think this one has the potential to go the distance, although our boxing experts have pencilled in the 10th round for a PacMan victory and a reunion with the WBA ‘super’ lightweight belt.”
