Former champ Lovemore Ndou to announce major political move
As a child growing up in South Africa, Lovemore Ndou experienced extreme poverty and the injustices of the apartheid system, witnessed atrocities committed against his family and community, was a victim of police brutality and tragically saw his best friend gunned down in a street protest.
Yet, against all odds, Lovemore succeeded and rose to become a three-time boxing world champion and then a successful lawyer, while making Sydney, Australia his home.
He has been described as “the world’s brainiest boxer” with no less than seven university degrees to his name.
On Friday 1 December in Sydney, Lovemore will launch the New Edition of his memoir TOUGH LOVE, plus make a major announcement around his move into politics.
Joining the Media Event will be NSW Premier Chris Minns. The Premier trains regularly with former world boxing champion Lovemore Ndou.
Lovemore will now be flexing his muscles in politics to put to good use those septet of uni degrees as well as his troubled past to create a more harmonious future for the next generations.
