Roberto Duran's promoter Luis DeCubas Sr. nominated for IBHOF
Boxing promoter Luis DeCubas Sr., a 40-year veteran in the sport, has been nominated for induction into the prestigious International Boxing Hall of Fame, marking a momentous milestone in his illustrious career. With over four decades dedicated to the sport of boxing, DeCubas Sr. is receiving the recognition and respect he truly deserves from his peers.
Known for rejuvenating the career of Hall of Fame inductee Roberto Duran, Luis DeCubas Sr., has tirelessly promoted the sport, nurtured the careers of numerous fighters and contributed to the growth and development of professional boxing. His nomination to the International Boxing Hall of Fame is an indication of his many years of commitment, expertise, and significant influence on the sport.
DeCubas Sr. is responsible for promoting some of the best fighters to ever come out of Cuba, where he was born. DeCubas Sr. continues to make a significant impact on boxing, still actively promoting under the banner of Warriors Boxing. His devotion to the sport remains constant, and his passion for discovering and nurturing boxing talent is still relevant to this day.
